ENGINEERING
The Surgical Strike Stick changes the architecture of the offshore harpoon.
THROWING GRIP
The Throwing Finger Grip is formed by two stanchions welded directly to the aluminum shaft. Each stanchion uses a deliberate hourglass-profile, narrowing at the center to create a defined seat for the fingers and establish a repeatable throwing-hand position.
RIGGING FIN
The Rigging Retrieval Fin is also welded directly to the aluminum shaft and uses a purpose-designed dual-hole configuration. The primary hole provides the dedicated connection point for retrieval rigging, while the smaller secondary hole provides a connection point for a safety-retention line or other requirements associated with the user’s retrieval setup.
INTEGRATION
The Throwing Finger Grip and Rigging Retrieval Fin are positioned and welded as integral components of the aluminum shaft. Their geometry and placement were developed in relationship to shaft length, balance, handling, and overall configuration, making hand position and rigging deliberate parts of the harpoon’s architecture.
CONTROL
The result is a repeatable throwing-hand position that gives the user the same physical reference point each time — allowing the hand to return naturally to the hourglass-profile stanchions while retrieval rigging is integrated through the welded dual-hole fin. Grip, balance, and handling work together to create a consistent and instinctive feel in the hand.
