Finish

Your bowl/tray has been protected with Osmo Polyx-Oil 3054 Clear Satin — a premium Hardwax-oil finish that enhances the wood’s natural character while providing a durable, food-safe surface.

Osmo Polyx®-Oil is stain-resistant, water-repellent, and abrasion-resistant, resulting in a finish that is both protective and exceptionally pleasant to the touch. In comparison to conventional finishes, its 

plant-based formulation produces a more even color and a naturally harmonious appearance.

This finish is based upon natural plant oils and waxes, including sunflower oil, soya oil, thistle oil, carnauba wax, and candelilla wax.

Cleaning

Gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Dry immediately.

For everyday cleaning and maintenance, we recommend Osmo Spray Cleaner, specially formulated for Hardwax-oil wood surfaces.

This ready-to-use spray solution contains soaps based on natural oils that help prevent the wood from drying out. Its water-soluble ingredients clean without streaking and do not form a surface layer. The formula is skin-friendly, biodegradable, and free of solvents, dyes, and emissions — ensuring the surface remains food safe while supporting a healthy living environment.
